2 western spies operating in Russia.



Ok, so far so good.  A question presents itself immediately. 

"Rick if you know, shouldn't Russian counterintelligence know and do something about them as shown in that recent very funny Russian TV program 'Adaptation'?"

Russian counterintelligence does know and for reasons of their own allow boys like Adrian and Kyle to flutter about.  I suspect its a bit of 'better the devil you know' sort of thing.  Should the boys upstairs have reason then they would be expelled.  To date they've not. 

And to be fair, brother Adrian spends a fair amount of his time while under cover bridging the cultural gap between Russian, Britain and that fairest of lands, Scotland.

I like Adrian very much personally.  I took a bit of offense when he shifted from neutral (or so I thought) into offense as regards Mrs Macy's son, the poster of this post. 

As to Kyle, don't know that he does anything good in terms of Canadian-Russian relations beyond the odd post berating his homeland and sucking up to our kind hosts.

CIA Agents, current and Former  Abound in Russia Matt Igel Matt Igel, ex Army Ranger, West Point graduate.  We met in spring 1998 in Saint Petersburg, Russia.  I've often reflected why we had what I considered a friendship.  The reason simple.  He had reached out to me and was nice.  Only may years later did I learn this was a CIA tactic, a ploy most dishonest.  This alone qualifies Matt Igel, presently residing in California, a former Kelly Services executive in Russia and Switzerland.
